| Teresa is from
Santa Fe, Texas (south of Houston). She received an Associate of Arts in 1988. She then received a Bachelor
of Science Magna Cum Laude in 1990 and a Master of Science in Communication
Disorders in 1992, both from Southwest Texas State University. Teresa
is licensed by the Texas State Board of Speech Pathologists and Audiologists
and certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
She has been working with pediatrics since 1992. Teresa works with children
with a variety of diagnoses including autism/PDD, apraxia, oral motor
dysfunction, feeding difficulty, stuttering, auditory processing disorders,
cerebral palsy, sensory integration dysfunction, and articulation and
language impairments. Teresa has additional training in oral motor intervention,
fluency disorders, autism/PDD, augmentative communication, sensory integration
and therapeutic listening. |
