She received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1996 from Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, MO. Occupational Therapy is a second career for Mauri. She is quick to say Occupational Therapy is her true career path, and how much she loves working with children. Mauri is licensed by the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational therapy Examiners and certified with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Her practice has been focused in the area of pediatrics. She has completed training in Therapeutic Listening Program, Level I SAMONAS Sound Therapy. She has recently completed course work in developmental vision therapy. Mauri works with children with a variety of diagnoses resulting in neurological disabilities, sensory integration dysfunction, sensory-based feeding dysfunction, dysgraphia, and dyspraxia.
